Mission Statement

Veteran-built. Central Texas tough.

Nine Line Roofing was founded to hold roofs to the same standards we held in service. Measure twice. Install once. Answer the phone when the warranty needs to be honored.

Founding

Why we started.

After service, we came home to Central Texas and saw what was happening to local homeowners: storm-chasers in rented trucks, “free” inspections that turned into pressure tactics, vague verbal estimates, and roofs that failed inside their warranty.

We started Nine Line Roofing in 2023 because Killeen, Temple, and the surrounding communities deserved a roofer that operated like a builder instead of a sales team. Our background is commercial construction: high-rise interiors and institutional projects in Austin, where the scope is written down, the work is inspected before it gets covered, and nobody signs off on a job they are not willing to answer for. We run residential roofs the same way.

Today, we install roofs across Killeen, Temple, Belton, Harker Heights, and Dallas using manufacturer-spec materials and crews we know and supervise. Every install carries a 15-year workmanship warranty in writing. We pick up the phone.

That's the standard. That's Nine Line Roofing.

Standing Order

The four commitments.

Honest Pricing

Written rate card before you sign. No verbal quotes, no day-of surprises.

Manufacturer Materials

Direct-from-supplier delivery. No warehouse overstock. No bait-and-switch substitutions.

Same Crew, Start to Finish

Insured crews we have worked with for years, supervised by us. The same one stays on your home from tear-off to final walk.

Answered Warranties

15-year workmanship warranty in writing. We pick up the phone after.

Veterans & Active Duty

Free upgrade to Class 4 impact-rated shingles.

Every veteran and active-duty install gets bumped to Class 4, the highest UL 2218 hail rating, at no extra cost. Many Texas carriers discount premiums on Class 4 roofs, so the upgrade often pays itself back.

The Name

What “Nine Line” means.

In military service, a “9-line” is the standardized format for a MEDEVAC request: nine specific lines of information that have to be reported in order, accurately, the first time, because someone's life depends on it.

The name carries the discipline we hold ourselves to on every roof: the right information, in order, the first time, because someone's home depends on it.

“We treat every roof like the family inside it is someone we know.

Project Manager & Owner

About

Eian has been in construction since he was sixteen. Ten years in, he has done most of the jobs there are to do on a site, starting as an apprentice and ending up running crews of his own.

Most of that decade was commercial work in Austin, framing and finishing out the insides of high-rise towers. On one 49-story building downtown he had up to forty tradesmen under him. Work like that gets inspected constantly. Nothing gets closed up until somebody puts their name on it, and if it is wrong, it comes back apart on your dime. You learn quickly that there is no cheap way to fix it later, so you build it right the first time.

Residential roofing usually does not work like that, and that is the gap Nine Line was built to close. Too many homeowners get a number scratched on the back of a business card and a crew nobody can name. Eian founded the company on the commercial habits instead: the scope written down before anyone climbs a ladder, the same crew from tear-off to the final walk, and photos of whatever we find up there whether you asked for them or not. That is still how the work gets done.

He built the business from the first job and has run the project management side of it since: estimating and scope development, the production schedule, job costing against contract value, and the insurance work, carrying claims through to the carrier's release of depreciation. He walked the roofs and the attics himself and speaks Spanish with the crews doing the installing. Those systems are what the company runs on, with Art carrying the field.

Before roofing, Eian served in the Army as a Cavalry Scout, and later spent a few years teaching the trade to apprentices and journeymen coming up through the carpenters union.
